Oklahoma Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Everything went their way against the Destiny Christian Wildcats as the Oklahoma Christian Academy Eagles made off with an 11-3 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Cruz Gillespie was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in triples (two). Another player making a difference was Isaac Smith, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Oklahoma Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Destiny Christian only posted an OBP of .370.

This is the second loss in a row for Destiny Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Oklahoma Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Destiny Christian at 4:30 p.m. on April 21st. As for Destiny Christian, they will face off against Vanoss at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Destiny Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
