Foxcroft's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tandem Friends Badgers, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Foxcroft as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Foxcroft was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-14, 17-25, 25-23, 15-8.

Clair Wu paced Foxcroft's offense, picking up 15 kills. Wu got some help from Katharina Eltzschig and her 25 assists. Eltzschig was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Foxcroft's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Tandem Friends, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Coming up, Foxcroft will head out on the road to challenge Quantico at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tandem Friends, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stuart Hall at 4:15 p.m.
