 Riverside entered their tilt with Ellwood City with 27 consecutive wins  dating back to last season but they'll enter their next game with 28. They blew past the Ellwood City Wolverine 12-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Riverside also won the last time the pair played  last Monday.
  Zach Hare made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits. Hare was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Riverside got a  massive  performance out of  Sean Hayes, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Christian Lucarelli, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and four  RBI.
 On Ellwood City's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Joseph Roth, who  went 1-for-2 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Riverside's victory was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Ellwood City,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-2.
 Riverside will head out on the road to  challenge  Knoch at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Ellwood City, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Quaker Valley at 4:30  p.m.
