Basketball Game Preview: Centreville Bulldogs vs. Schoolcraft Eagles

Centreville is 0-5 against Schoolcraft since March of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Centreville Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Schoolcraft Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Centreville saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They managed a 54-49 win over Union City. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Schoolcraft on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Quincy out of the water with a 69-28 final score. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Schoolcraft has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. Centreville's victory bumped their record up to 19-3.

Centreville came up short against Schoolcraft in their previous meeting on February 5th, falling 62-54. Can Centreville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
