Meanwhile, Ligonier Valley didn't have quite enough to beat McGuffey on Tuesday and fell 4-3. While losing is never fun, Ligonier Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 514th, while McGuffey are ranked 192nd).

Elizabeth Forward's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Ligonier Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
