Swanton hadn't done well against Pettisville recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Blackbirds with a sharp 9-2 win. Considering Swanton have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Pettisville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Coby Sharrit led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory got Swanton back to even at 5-5-2. As for Pettisville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-2.
