It was a good run, but Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 8-1 to the Christian Home Educators Fellowship Patriots. Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool was not able to make up for their loss to Christian Home Educators Fellowship from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Domininc Morrison, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Christian Home Educators Fellowship, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

Coming up, Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool will welcome John Paul the Great Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
