Softball Recap: Stadium Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kennedy Catholic last Thursday, Stadium came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 13-1 to the Tahoma Bears on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 10-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

London Kim was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Stadium has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Tahoma, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Stadium will be playing in front of their home fans against Curtis at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Tahoma, they will venture away from home to take on Auburn Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ravens have averaged an impressive 12.9 runs per game this season.
