            West Monroe won the last time they faced Ouachita Parish and things went their way  on Thursday too. Everything went the West Monroe Rebels' way against the Ouachita Parish Lions as the West Monroe Rebels made off with  an  11-0 win. The  match marked the Rebels' most dominant  victory of the  season so far.

 Tyler Roark made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and four  RBI. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Drew Ferguson looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run any time he's  pitched this season.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Peyton Starr, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and one  double. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in February.  Drew Anderson was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 West Monroe was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .448. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
The  win was  the fourth in a row for West Monroe, bringing their record for this year to 11-5-1. As for Ouachita Parish,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-11.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Monroe will venture away from home to  challenge Ouachita Christian  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. West Monroe will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last. As for Ouachita Parish, they are taking a road trip to  square off against West Monroe  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
