Basketball Recap: Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cissna Park, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They secured a 32-26 W over the Oakwood Comets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Despite the loss, Oakwood still got an impressive performance from Caydence Vermillion, who posted ten points and six steals. Vermillion has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Rylee Wright, who put up eight points.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Oakwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will look to defend their home court on Monday against Schlarman at 6:00 p.m. As for Oakwood, they will head out on the road to take on St. Thomas More at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
