Volleyball Recap: Reading Memorial Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Reading Memorial lost against Longmeadow back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rockets lost 3-0 to the Lancers. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Reading Memorial took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-23.

Annie Kro was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 14 digs and one assist. Those 14 digs gave her a new career-high. Tess Tonsing also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Reading Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Longmeadow, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Looking ahead, Reading Memorial will venture away from home to challenge Woburn Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Longmeadow, they will take on Baystate Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
