The River Bluff Gators will take on the Westside Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. River Bluff is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

River Bluff will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Saturday, then bounced right back against Lugoff-Elgin on Tuesday. River Bluff was the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over Lugoff-Elgin. Holden Carruthers was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Westside's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to Hillcrest. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Westside's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Westside fell to 5-1. As for River Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything went River Bluff's way against Westside in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, as River Bluff made off with a 3-0 win. Will River Bluff repeat their success, or does Westside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
