You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Tumwater's strategy against Aberdeen on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Thunderbirds blew the Bobcats out of the water with a 55-20 final score. The Thunderbirds haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Peyton Davis went supernova, rushing for 178 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. Davis is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 115 every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Briscoe, who rushed for 56 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Tumwater was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 280 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Aberdeen only rushed for 117.

Tumwater's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Aberdeen, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tumwater will welcome WF West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aberdeen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Black Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.57 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
