Recap: Elkmont Red Devils vs. Falkville Blue Devils
The Elkmont Red Devils lost to the Falkville Blue Devils back in November of 2019, but the Elkmont Red Devils didn't allow the Falkville Blue Devils the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Elkmont walked away with a 50-37 win over Falkville.
Elkmont's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nyla Parker led the charge by scoring 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Brylee Boger, who scored 10 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
Elkmont now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Falkville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elkmont will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against West Limestone at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. As for Falkville, they will square off against Sumiton Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
