If Maranatha Christian was riding high fresh off their 24-0 takedown of Guajome Park Academy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Maranatha Christian fell just short of Tri-City Christian by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday. Maranatha Christian was not able to make up for their defeat to Tri-City Christian from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Lillian Visser was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits (and not a single walk). Visser was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
