Volleyball Recap: South Davidson Extends Winning Streak to Three

South Davidson entered their tilt with Thomasville on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-19, 25-13.

Payton Cook paced South Davidson's offense, picking up six kills. Cook got some help from Rose Sommer and her nine assists. Cook was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 12 aces.

South Davidson's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Thomasville, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

South Davidson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against South Stokes on the 4th. As for Thomasville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy on the 8th.
