Volleyball Recap: Versailles Comes Up Short

Versailles came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Warsaw Wildcats. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wildcats since Tuesday.

While Versailles was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-22.

Versailles has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record this season. As for Warsaw, they pushed their record up to 4-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Versailles will welcome Butler at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warsaw, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Conway at 6:30 p.m.
