Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Logan). They put the hurt on the Mingo Central Miners with a sharp 5-1 win on Thursday. The match was close at halftime, but Logan turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Logan and bumps their season record up to 5-9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two matchups. As for Mingo Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's still a better percentage than their 1-9-1 record this season.

Logan will welcome Westside at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mingo Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Scott at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
