Volleyball Recap: Northtown Takes a Loss

Northtown had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 11-5 to make it four. They fell just short of the Walther Christian Academy Broncos by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

As for Walther Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.

Walther Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Matthew Leonard, who had 16 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Leonard has posted over his last eight contests.
