Basketball Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

Milton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brookline Warriors. The Wildcats lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 66-29 score last time.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Brookline, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Milton will square off against Walpole at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brookline has already played their next contest (against Everett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
