Volleyball Recap: Delta Panthers vs. Elmwood Royals        
        
		
             Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Elmwood Royals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the  3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2023.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17,  26-24.
  Serenity Tedrick and  Ellie Martinez certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss.  Tedrick  had 15  digs, while  Martinez  had 12  digs and 16  assists. Tedrick has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  digs the last six times she's  played.
 Even though they lost, Delta  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with ten  aces. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 0  aces per game earlier this season, but in their last five contests they've averaged 7.
 Leading Elmwood to victory were  Madi Lee and  Kate West.  Lee  had 11  digs, while  West  had eight  digs.
 Delta's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Elmwood,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-8.
 Delta will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Holgate at 7:00  p.m. Delta is facing Holgate at the right time seeing as Holgate is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Elmwood, they will play host again  on Saturday to welcome Patrick Henry, where  is scheduled  at 11:30  a.m.
