Baseball Game Preview: Pine View Panthers vs. Dixie Flyers

Pine View is 1-9 against Dixie since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Flyers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Pine View came up short against Snow Canyon and fell 8-4.

Parker Heath was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Raiden Hunt was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Dixie also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Desert Hills by a score of 8-5. The Flyers have struggled against the Thunder recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Dixie saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Espley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Pine View's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Dixie, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Pine View might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Dixie in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
