Manhattan waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Great Bend Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 last Tuesday.

Manhattan not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Great Bend to exactly 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16.

Sophia Peabody paced Manhattan's offense, picking up eight kills. Peabody got some help from Keeli Tepe and her 23 assists.

Manhattan's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Great Bend, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-9.

Manhattan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hays on the 30th. As for Great Bend, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Dodge City on the 2nd.
