After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Colonial Forge, Patriot was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mountain View Wildcats 42-7. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pioneers considering their seven-point performance the contest before.

Patriot's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Mountain View, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Patriot and Mountain View should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Pioneers will square off against Unity Reed at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th with a big rank advantage (30 vs. 206). Meanwhile, Mountain View (ranked 23rd) will meet Freedom (ranked 103rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
