Willamette was sadly handed a loss on Saturday, but Jadynn Ireland did her best to prevent it. Ireland was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over 6.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Ireland and Willamette will head out on the road to face off against North Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
