Basketball Recap: Fabens Wildcats vs. Clint Lions
After soaring to 57 points the game before, Fabens was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost to the Clint Lions at home by a 38-24 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-15 back in November.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Esmeralda Hernandez, who posted six points.
Anabella Portillo was a one-woman wrecking crew for Clint as she went 8 of 15 on her way to 18 points and six steals.
