Volleyball Game Preview: Pillager Huskies vs. Foley Falcons

The Pillager Huskies will head out on the road to square off against the Foley Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Pillager will bounce into Monday's match after beating New York Mills, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Huskies put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Huskies not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Foley got the win against Pierz on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Pillager is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season. As for Foley, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Pillager couldn't quite get it done against Foley in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Huskies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
