Soccer Recap: Colorado Springs Christian Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Colorado Springs Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Ellicott Thunderhawks a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. Colorado Springs Christian haven't had any issues with Ellicott recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colorado Springs Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Front Range Christian at 10:30 a.m. on September 6. As for Ellicott, they will square off against Thomas MacLaren School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
