Basketball Recap: Bessemer City Triumphs

Cherryville came into Friday's match looking for another win against Bessemer City, but Josiah Guyton wouldn't allow it. The Bessemer City Yellow Jackets came out on top against the Cherryville Ironmen by a score of 66-59 on Friday thanks in part to Guyton, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. He also grabbed six steals, which is notable because Bessemer City is 9-2 when he posts at least three steals, but 2-6 otherwise.
