Baseball Recap: Oak Ridge Trojans vs. Rocklin Thunder        
        
		
            
 Oak Ridge was the  6-2 winner over Rocklin when they last played one another  back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Oak Ridge Trojans took  an  11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocklin Thunder on Wednesday.
 Oak Ridge got a good showing from  Jack Spero, who   tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also only allowed one  walk).
 On the hitting side,  Ryan Hubbard made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.  Dylan Westbrook was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 On Rocklin's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Dylan Nusz, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Grant Munoz, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Oak Ridge now  has a losing record at 5-6. As for Rocklin, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season.
 Oak Ridge will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Bellarmine College Prep at 1:00  p.m. Bellarmine College Prep's pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so Oak Ridge's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
