Baseball Game Preview: Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders vs. Orange Park Raiders

The Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders will challenge the Orange Park Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Orange Park took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Old Plank Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

Old Plank Christian Academy is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Harvest Community a 16-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Defenders in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Ian Puckett was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Puckett was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, Kaden Treitinger was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Derrick Rhodes, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
