Wharton has gone a perfect 5-0 against Hillsborough recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Terriers at 8:00 p.m. Wharton will be strutting in after a win while Hillsborough will be coming in after a loss.

Wharton's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Freedom as they made off with a 7-0 victory. Wharton haven't had any issues with Freedom recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Wharton's offense was hitting Freedom from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Mikayla Weaver led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Hillsborough's offense. They came up short against Tampa Bay Tech on Friday, falling 8-0. Hillsborough have struggled against Tampa Bay Tech recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Wharton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hillsborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Wharton took their win against Hillsborough when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Terriers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
