On Sunday, Manasquan faced Wildwood Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Manasquan Warriors walked away with a 42-33 victory over the Wildwood Catholic Crusaders. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lola McGonigle, who posted ten points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anastasia Bowman, who scored ten points and five boards.

Manasquan's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Wildwood Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-4.

Looking ahead, Manasquan will be playing at home against Marlboro at 4:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Wildwood Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-25 victory against Cape May County Tech on the 12th.
