Kash Schwab Crosses Big Stat Threshold

On Thursday, Bridgeland got the W thanks in part to Kash Schwab playing the best football he has all season. Schwab rushed for 214 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (114.1). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Schwab and Bridgeland will take on Cypress Ranch at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will pit Schwab up against the Mustangs' star RB Peyton Thomas. Will the matchup be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Bryant Thomas Delivers Best Performance of Season

Sadly, Bryant Thomas posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Cypress Woods over Cypress Ranch on Saturday. Thomas rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 47 receiving yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023.

The loss snapped Cypress Woods' winning streak at eight games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 7-1 record. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats dukes it out withCypress Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Alex Spence Myers Goes Supernova in Bridgeland Win

Alex Spence Myers was instrumental in extending Bridgeland's winning streak to five on Thursday. Nobody could stop Spence Myers as he rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Spence Myers and Bridgeland will challenge Cypress Ranch at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will pit Spence Myers up against the Mustangs' star running back Peyton Thomas. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Ruiz Made His Presence Known in Langham Creek's 21-14 Loss

Daymond Ruiz's rushing tear continued on Thursday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 110+ rushing yards. He rushed for 199 yards.

Langham Creek's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4. Ruiz will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Cypress Lakes on Friday.
