Basketball Recap: Timpson Falls Short of Hemphill in the Playoffs

Timpson and Hemphill squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Timpson had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hemphill Hornets by a score of 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bears have suffered since February 27, 2024.

Timpson's loss dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Hemphill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-16.

Timpson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hemphill, they will square off against Hawkins on Friday. Hawkins will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Hemphill surely won't give up without a fight.
