Baseball Game Preview: Palmer Bulldogs vs. Maypearl Panthers

For the second straight game, Palmer will face off against Maypearl. The Bulldogs will challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Palmer is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Maypearl on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (11-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Palmer saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Munoz, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Maypearl pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Palmer, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13-1.
