Volleyball Recap: Randolph Find Success

Randolph can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Waltham Hawks 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in April.

Randolph wouldn't go down easily and took Waltham into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-16, 29-27, 27-29, 15-13.

Paul Shin and Tharyar San certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Shin had 21 digs and two assists, while San had four digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Matthew Longacre, who had five digs and two aces.

Randolph picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-8. As for Waltham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Randolph has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Boston Latin Academy on the 14th. As for Waltham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Billerica Memorial on the 14th.
