Soccer Recap: Rockbridge County Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Rockingham last Monday, Rockbridge County came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks on Tuesday, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rockbridge County of the 7-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Rockbridge County's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Harrisonburg, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Rockbridge County is set to face off against their familiar foe Turner Ashby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harrisonburg will square off against rival William Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
