Wauconda is a perfect 10-0 against Round Lake since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will take on the Panthers at 6:15 p.m. Wauconda is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Wauconda barely beat Grant Community the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Wauconda put the hurt on Grant Community with a sharp 6-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Wauconda in their matchups with Grant Community: they've now won nine in a row.

Ava Hortillosa and Isabelle Gerle scored all six of Wauconda's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Round Lake's offense. They came up short against Lakes on Thursday, falling 9-0. Round Lake have struggled against Lakes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Round Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-2. As for Wauconda, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Wauconda was able to grind out a solid win over Round Lake when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
