Basketball Game Preview: Woodberry Forest Tigers vs. Fredericksburg Christian Eagles

The Woodberry Forest Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Woodberry Forest is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Episcopal on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Woodberry Forest lost 75-49 to Episcopal. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since February 6th.

Meanwhile, Fredericksburg Christian waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Kings 83-63. The win was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Kings are ranked fifth).

Fredericksburg Christian's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Woodberry Forest, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
