Basketball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Eastern came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Mason Bulldogs and fell 77-39. The defeat continues a trend for the Quakers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Mason, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-1.

Looking ahead, Eastern will be taking part in a tournament against DeWitt at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern is facing DeWitt at the right time seeing as DeWitt is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Mason, they will take on Tournament Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
