Magnolia posted their closest win since March 8, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 victory over the Century Centurions. This was a revenge game for the Sentinels: when they faced off against the Centurions on April 9th, they had to take a 11-9 defeat.

Magnolia's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12. As for Century, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Coming up, Magnolia will square off against Rancho Alamitos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sentinels will need to watch out since the Vaqueros have now posted at least ten runs in their last nine games. As for Century, they will challenge Environmental Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The White Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.63 runs per game on average), something the Centurions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
