Basketball Recap: Ravenna's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Ravenna's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sandhills/Thedford Knights, sneaking past 30-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bluejays have posted since January 4, 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ravenna to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reannon Siegel, who posted nine points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Katie Jarzynka, who earned 12 points and three steals.

Ravenna's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Sandhills/Thedford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ravenna will head out to face off against Doniphan-Trumbull at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sandhills/Thedford, they will face off against South Loup on Thursday.
