Capital is headed into Wednesday's   contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight  losses. They were a single  goal away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of La Cueva. The  match was a  2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Capital couldn't quite close it out.
They hit La Cueva with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Eduardo Mendez,  Julian Montes,  and  Jeremy Lopez.
 Meanwhile,  it may have taken  extra minutes to finish the job, but Manzano ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  win over West Mesa. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for Manzano as it put an end to their ten-match losing streak.
 Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-1. As for Manzano, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
 Capital took their  victory against Manzano  when the teams last played  on October 4th by a conclusive  4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
