Baseball Recap: Wisdom Comes Up Short

Wisdom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the Westside Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 last Tuesday.

Wisdom's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Westside, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-13 record this season.

Wisdom and Westside will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Generals see the field they'll take on Cesar E. Chavez at 7:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Westside, their break will end when they face Heights at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
