After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northview, the Owen Valley Patriots were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 53-40 win over Edgewood. For Owen Valley, this counts as revenge for the 52-48 loss Edgewood walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mialin White, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Carson Huttenlocker was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Even though they lost, Edgewood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Owen Valley only pulled down two offensive rebounds.
