Basketball Recap: Grand Forks Central Comes Up Short

Grand Forks Central lost against Horace back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grand Forks Central Knights were outmatched by Horace and fell 86-36. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Horace are ranked sixth).

Grand Forks Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Horace, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Grand Forks Central will head out on the road to face off against Sheyenne at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Horace, they will look to defend their home court on January 24th against Fargo Davies at 7:15 p.m.
