Basketball Recap: Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Comes Up Short

Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 76-52 to the Hancock Owls. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Owls are ranked 40th).

Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hancock, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley will be playing at home against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hancock, they will head out on the road to challenge Lakeview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
