East saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Francisco Rodriguez Santos, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Another was Abimael Torres, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

On the hitting side, Thad Eaton was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Evan Wensel also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for East, their record now sits at 8-15.
