Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask IMG Academy Blue). They were the clear victors by a 21-8 margin over the First Baptist Academy Lions on Thursday. IMG Academy Blue's victory was all the more impressive since the Lions were averaging only 3.92 runs allowed on the season.

Cole Miyashiro was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Mario Fortis Fernandez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

IMG Academy Blue always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as First Baptist Academy only posted an OBP of .357.

IMG Academy Blue now has a winning record of 11-10. As for First Baptist Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-8 record.
